Critter Ridge Rescue was founded with a mission that sets us apart from traditional shelters. After years of experience working with other rescues and veterinary offices, we saw a heartbreaking pattern – animals that required a little extra care were often the first to be overlooked. Whether they were Seniors, newborns needing bottle-feeding, or animals with deformities or medical challenges, these pets were passed over simply because they needed more time, attention or resources.

We believe that every animal deserves a chance to be loved, regardless of their age, conditions, or special needs. While many rescues focus on the easily adoptable, we make it our mission to take in those who need us most – the ones who are often deemed “less desirable.” At Critter Ridge, we see their value, their resilience, and the love they still have to give.

By providing specialized care, rehabilitation, and a safe place to heal, we give these animals not just a second chance, but the best chance at finding a loving forever home. Because to us, no animal is ever unworthy of love!
